Outdoor Weddings

Historic Copper Creek Inn, Cabins and Lodge, located 2 miles from the Nisqually entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park, provides a unique wedding venue. The secluded 6.5 acre property is a beautiful setting hugged by Copper Creek on the east border. Your overnight guests enjoy cabins with hot tubs, solitude along the creek and trails through the woods, and the relaxed natural environment.

 

The Forest Amphitheater is a beautiful natural woodland setting with a raised stage area and massive rock steps. Your guests are seated on cedar slab benches. You are surrounded by a beautiful forest.

Indoor Weddings

The large open floor plan of Forest Retreat accommodates a group for a casual appetizer party, a small wedding, or up to 40 for sit down dining.

  • Large, well equipped kitchen with a gas range and full sized refrigerator
  • Two large hickory tables that can seat up to 20. Folding tables and chairs can be added to accommodate an additional 20 guests.
  • All dishes are included

Receptions & Celebrations

The covered porch of Forest Retreat provides a wonderful outdoor setting for receptions, parties, reunions. Pop up tents are added to expand the space for larger groups.

 

Copper Creek Restaurant offers a varied catering menu, complete with serving staff.

 

We provide the following:

 

  • A beautiful natural setting
  • No curfews. The party can go as long as you like.
  • Folding tables
  • Maple folding chairs
  • Clear glass dishes including Mt Rainier etched champagne, wine and beer glasses
  • White linens
  • Pop up tents
  • One propane heater
  • Barbecue grills
  • Use of the grounds
  • Staff to set up the tables, chairs, pop up tents, etc
  • Referrals for service providers such as officiator, photographers, musicians, etc.

  • Additional decorative lighting, if you like
  • Any other decor to make your reception unique

Catering available from Copper Creek Restaurant. Delicious meals can be delivered to the outdoor dining area, or right to the great room of Forest Retreat. Menus are customizable to suit you tastes.

Cabins and suites  accommodate participants. Take over the entire property for total privacy. Roam the grounds or take hikes at Mt. Rainier National Park between meetings for "Fresh Air" to inspire "Fresh Thinking."

 

Other Events

A large cabin designed to accommodate groups for family reunions, church retreats, school groups, art groups, quilters, workshops, etc. The open floor plan of the upstairs room provides room for meetings, gathering and dining for about 40 people. The large covered porch has room to accommodate up to 80 for dining, projects, and meeting.
