Roselea Triggs, the 1950's owner of Copper Creek Inn once lived in these rooms above the restaurant. She waited tables by day and wrote short stories by night. She had a colorful history and was loved by people who knew her. Many people remember her and discribe her as "the light of the commumity." | ||||||||||||||||||||

| Soft sunny colors decorate this two room suite. The livingroom sofa makes into a foam futon type bed bed for another couple or children. The bedroom has a queen sized antique sleigh bed. A small table and chairs, an antique trunk, 1950's advertisements for Copper Creek Inn restaurant and 1950's TV embellish the room.
The TV actually works! Enjoy a classic movie or even a modern movie in black and white. You'll be surprised at how it feels like an old one. Or if you must have color, a modern TV and a great of movies are also supplied. French windows open out onto views of towering cedars and firs. Knotty pine woodwork compliments the restored douglas fir floors and bead board walls. |

| In 1946 Roselea Triggs & her husband, Harry Long purchased Copper Creek. It had been a lunch counter and garage, and they converted the whole building to a restaurant. Roselea, a striking beauty who had a brief career in Burlesque, was the waitress. Shortly after opening the cafe, Harry left Roselea with $15.00 in her pocket. She was no cook, but she managed to keep the restaurant open with the help of friends. A local logger started showing up in the mornings to make breakfast. Word spread quickly in the valley and they soon had a vibrant trade. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| Frenchie's Suite: A three rooms suite is named for the 1950s baker at Copper Creek Inn, Hank "Frenchie" Canty. Two knotty pine bedrooms have lush queen beds with down comforters.
