The Log Cabin was built in the mid 50's for restaurant owner Roselea Triggs.

In 1946 Roselea Triggs & her husband, Harry Long purchased Copper Creek Inn. (Then Copper Creek Cafe.) Harry left Rosalea soon after they arrived, and Roslea continued to operate the restaurant until her retirement. She's been described by many who remember her as the "light of the community."

Rosalea's log cabin was hand built of cedar logs by Babs Coté in 1955. The petrified wood and stone fire place is the center piece and warms the cabin with even the smallest of fires.

More info about Babs Coté

Babs was 72 when he built the cabin. He would hire a couple of teen boys to get on one end of the log, and Babs would hoist the other end alone. . . all 100 pounds of him! Babs built quite a few cabins in the area over the years.. . . read more!
