| For years travelers have enjoyed the charming Copper Creek restaurant, famous for it's old fashioned cooking and hospitality. It has been open since 1946. More than 50 years of customers from around the world remember the blackberry pie, hearty stew and pan fried trout. Open all year!
In 2001 Copper Creek Inn remodeled the rooms above the restaurant to provide overnight lodging to visitors at Mt Rainier National Park. In 2002 the log cabin next door was opened, and in 2003 renovation of the old Copper Creek Lodge was completed. |

| Lodging: The Suites at Copper Creek Inn, Mount Rainier: "It's like sleeping in a museum." Two suites and one small sleeping room have been restored to preserve the history at Copper Creek Inn. The rooms are adorned with old restaurant tools and photos of early Copper Creek. Loggers who once rented these upstairs rooms left cork boot marks in the rich colored wood floors. In the 50s the rooms housed some of the staff, including Roselea the 1950s owner of Copper Creek. 1935 newspapers were found in the walls during renovation. Customers return year after year to Copper Creek Restaurant and tell us tales of the old days.

We've been relocated to the great Northwest by the army, and my husband was dying to get to the mountain. So, we planned this trip to try out snow shoeing. I had pictured cabins with no comforts of home and no real food. What a surprise when we arrived here. The rooms are cozy, the food was excellent and we'll certainly be back! Vince and Angie |
